Wedge® display
The Wedge® display is CamFPD's first technology platform for development and licensing. Less than 2 cm thick, the Wedge® display consists of a wedge-shaped piece of glass or plastic coupled to a video projector. It is design-friendly and easy to integrate into a display system.
Wedge® scanners
The optics in a Wedge® panel operate in both directions: replace the projector with a camera, and you can capture an image of what lies in front of the Wedge® screen. The resulting flat panel camera can be used in specialist imaging and security applications.
The ScanWedge is an example of a Wedge® scanner working in a commercially available product. It was developed jointly by CamFPD and Scanna MSC.
