Cambridge, UK, 2 June, 2003 - CamFPD showed off their new all plastic Wedge® display in Baltimore, USA last month. The occasion was the Society for Information Display's annual international conference. The new Wedge® display was unveiled during a joint paper between CamFPD and Cambridge University.

Adrian Travis, technical director of CamFPD commented, "What we have shown here is that the Wedge® display can be made entirely of plastic. This will allow us to mould a flat panel display for little more than the cost of a video projector. Not only will these displays be inexpensive - they can also be bigger than with alternative technologies. Wedge® projection is a simple, economic and flexible way of making big flat panel displays."
